THE RUGGED 4x4 CROSS-OVER.

So what if the going gets rough? The new Opel Insignia Country Tourer will be comfortably in its element – and so will you.

A good-looker with universal talents

If you’ve been waiting for a good looking, outstandingly comfortable and really versatile cross-over station wagon check out the new Opel Insignia Country Tourer. It carries the iconic looks of the new Opel Insignia Sports Tourer over into a highly sophisticated and luxurious town and country car.

Rugged athletic looks dominate the first impression. Higher ride height, substantial anthracite sill and wheel arch cladding and substantial silver finished front and rear underbody protection panels catch the eye. Sophisticated Adaptive 4x4, a full range of driver assist and comfort features grab the imagination. Three outstanding engines grab the attention. It’s the perfect car for the country getaway, or for balancing the demands of country living with performance to excel on the highway.

Three state-of-the-art turbo engines deliver smooth torque power through advanced 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. All are impressive, for example the new-generation 2.0 SIDI Trubo engine maximizes every ounce of power from every drop of petrol to deliver a super-smooth 184 kW (250 hp) and an impressive 400 Nm torque. Two super-efficient diesel choices complete a high-precision and highly civilized range.

Behind the wheel you’ll find outstanding driving dynamics are guaranteed by the full integration of the Adaptive 4x4 with the standard-setting FlexRide chassis. The effortless ability to deliver torque to whichever wheel needs it most is even further refined by adding an electronic Limited Slip Differential (eLSD). Together with Opel’s HiPerStrut front suspension, standard in combination with the 2.0 SIDI Turbo, this means exceptionally refined and precise road holding and handling.
